"Magnolia's Place" and "The Coop" in the heart of the Mississippi Delta are now ready for your occupancy.  These historically preserved quarters are located in Greenwood, Mississippi.  The cabins are nestled in the cotton fields just south of the city, which makes it very peaceful and private, yet in close proximity to all the major attractions in the area including Blues man Robert Johnson's burial ground; Money, Mississippi where the Emmett Till case sparked the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s; Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, as well as the B. B. King Blues Museum in Indianola; Morgan Freeman's home in Charleston, Mississippi; and a number of other attractions on the Mississippi Blues Trail.

These cabins are perfect for the tourist and visitor who want to experience the culture of the South in a relaxed and peaceful setting.

"Magnolia's Place"

This cozy cabin dates back to the 1900s and is situated on a Delta cotton plantation along a legendary strip of Highway 49. "Magnolia's Place",  named after the cook who inhabited the plantation in the 1950s sleeps two people, and is equipped with indoor plumbing, full kitchen, central heating and air conditioners and other modern amenities.  Bea Cannon and her husband Jay purchased the property three years ago.  Bea's sister-in-law lived and worked in the 1950s on the same property they now own a piece of.

"The Coop"

"The Coop" is the manly cabin with modern amenities, but more sports oriented, complete with a 1970s sound system, big screen TVs, and recliner.  It was used as a chicken coop, but is now converted into a modern manly lodge.  This cabin will also house two people.  "The Coop" is very much like an "Animal House!" It is not for the squeamish.  Experience Mississippi -- Experience Delta living!
